Job Description
The 4-H Animal Science and Agriculture Educator serves as a member of the 4-H Youth Development Team to assist with delivery, evaluation, planning and management of the 4-H Youth Development programs. The educator interacts with the public through group delivery of programs and through individual club activities. The educator assists the Supervisor in activities to foster 4-H youth development with community leaders and to discover best practices and integration of new tools and materials with appropriate Association staff. Educator will provide educational programs in assigned subject matter areas. The educator will combine innovative and traditional approaches to provide Animal Science, Agriculture, Horticultural, STEM and traditional 4-H youth programming. The educator will collaborate with other educators in the Leatherstocking SBN region to create shared programming opportunities.

Education
Bachelors degree in education, agriculture, horticulture, or equivalent education (Associates degree and 2 years transferable program/functional experience may substitute for Bachelor's degree requirement).
