Job SummaryPurdue University and the Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business School of Management are looking for a person with experience in secondary or post-secondary education to become its next Associate Director of Undergraduate Recruitment. As the Associate Director of Undergraduate Recruitment, you will have shared responsibility for bringing in first-year and transfer students that are well-qualified and diverse. A fundamentally important function is to communicate up-to-date information effectively and persuasively to prospective students, parents, and key stakeholders both individually and in groups. This position will have a key role in yielding top students to the growing Purdue School of Business. Finally, the Associate Director is tasked with assisting the Director in creating and establishing recruitment strategies to attract key populations to the new Purdue School of Business.

Responsibilities + Skills

Education

Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with prospective students and parents, both individually and in groups, sharing up-to-date information on the School of Business undergraduate majors and programsAbility to learn quickly and to work in a highly flexible work environment based on changes in the recruitment calendar

Experience

Experience giving presentations and communicating with students and their familiesPresentation skills are highly valuable in this position
