Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DOThe Events Senior Specialist’s primary responsibility is to partner with the Events Team and the Office Experience Manager to drive the affiliation and events agenda for the office, from staff-wide offsite events to smaller cohort gatherings, including but not limited to: annual holiday party, summer retreat, monthly all-staff meetings, offsite meetings, holiday dinners, cohort events, in-house celebrations events, and social impact events and projects. In conjunction with the team and office leadership, implement initiatives to promote greater sense of community.YOU'RE GOOD ATExecuting events from start to finish, including navigating and executing contracts with the help of BCG legalEstablish relationships with vendors, select event sites, and execute required logisticsCoordinate office events: maintain resource files for events, meetings, possible future sites, and any other related event dataCoordinate event communication – prepare guest lists and invitations, send confirmations, track RSVPsManage event to budget by providing estimates and options to ensure events remain within budget guidelinesSuggest and solicit creative and new ideas, from events to engagement programs, to keep our affiliation program fresh and motivating
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
College degree strongly preferred
Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of events experience or working with individuals in a professional services environmentWorking knowledge and comfort with MS Office, specifically Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint willingness to learn new systems is relevant to the needs of the operation
