Job Description
Provide quality customer service within the Center Store (Grocery) Department. Responsible for maintaining standards in accordance with the standard practice manual, maximizing sales through excellent customer service and minimizing shrink through proper utilization of standard practice.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with primary emphasis on fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experienceCourteous and helpful to other associatesMaintain proper Specialty Merchandise product level according to standard practice while controlling backroom inventory and maintaining proper shelf conditionsMaintain shelf allocations according to plan-o-gramsEnsure that back stock is properly maintainedWork in new items and tags within 1 week of receiving items and refer to plan-o-grams for proper placementEnsure that ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise is done in accordance with policies and guidelines

Education
