We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for preparing, slicing, and serving deli products while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Your role will be vital in creating a welcoming environment for our customers and ensuring they receive quality products.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve deli items such as meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches according to established recipes and standards.Operate the Aloha POS system to process customer orders efficiently.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including equipment and displays.Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and excellent customer service.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper food handling procedures.Perform basic math calculations for portioning and pricing items accurately.Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Familiarity with retail math concepts is beneficial for inventory management tasks.Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
Experience
Experience in the food service industry is preferred, with knowledge of culinary techniques being a plus.Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
