Job DescriptionThe infrastructure IP Team consists of a multi-disciplinary group involved in the definition and design of Platform infrastructure HW components implemented in all Qualcomm SoCs. This position primarily involves building cycle-accurate/approximate Performance models of the System Memory controller, System Cache and inline HW Accelerators. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to refactor complex pseudo-accurate C++/System-C performance models; drive process automations; develop libraries, instrumentation; support IP and system level Performance debugs; Ability to partner effectively with IP designers, Design Verification teams and System performance architects.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Drive model development best practices, coding guidelines and process automationsConduct in-depth analysis of product requirement dashboards, CPU and GPU benchmarks to identify memory bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Experience
6+ years of performance model development (or) relevant software development experience in C++ and a solid understanding of STL, templates, design patterns, data structures and test-driven development
