As fabrication technology node shrinks, and performance requirement become higher, it is crucial to provide power optimized solutions, which is the responsibility of the group that you will be working in. Key responsibilities are:On Target power feature analysis, optimization, and prototypingCompetitive analysis – power and performance benchmarking of audio, video, camera solutions across various segments (mobile, compute, IOT, auto, XR)Machine learning workload power analysis (audio, voice, and imaging applications)Implement models for power projections, validation and architectural trade off analysisEstablish use-case and HW core power targets derived from competitive analysisWork with HW/SW design teams to optimize power features and present competitive analysis findings.
