In Data, we are responsible for delivering this data, news and analytics through innovative technology – quickly and accurately. We apply problem-solving skills to identify innovative workflow efficiencies, and we implement technology solutions to enhance our systems, products and processes. As part of the Data Management Lab (DML) department, we're responsible for supporting the development, enablement, and implementation of data management best practices that enable the delivery of “ready-to-use” data.What’s the role?As a product manager, you will have ownership of several key components of the metadata technical stack (e.g. Bloomberg Semantic Model (BSM), Bloomberg Semantic Registry (BSR)), as well as the engagements around them. The day-to-day will vary, some days you may be deriving insights from stakeholder use cases and usage data. On other days, you may be specifying product strategy or feature specifications. Your work will touch a multitude of domains across Bloomberg, covering many departments like Data, Product and Engineering.

Education
4+ years of product development and/or ownership experience.Strong interpersonal skills including networking, collaboration, communication, time management, adaptation to different audiences and environments.Strong understanding of functional areas within the organization, with the ability to translate business requirements into product deliverables.
