The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.   Position SummaryA Research Assistant is sought to assist researchers in the Department of Psychiatry with two research projects investigating the implications of genetic explanations for health outcomes. ResponsibilitiesSet up and maintain study files, materials, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and institutional policies.Coordinate with external vendors providing data collection services and coordinate scheduling of study participants.Participate in data management and analysis as needed and assist with implementation of Resource Sharing Plans.Assist with institutional review board (IRB) submissions and correspondence.Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested. 

Responsibilities + Skills

Education

Bachelors degree or at least one and one-half years of related experience or equivalent in education, training and experience.

Experience

Research experience in psychology preferred.Knowledge/experience providing general administrative support for research studies, including interfacing with University/Institutional administrative departments, research participants, and/or IRBs is preferred.
