Position SummaryWe are currently seeking a research assistant for a pediatric neuromuscular clinical research center at Columbia University. The candidate will provide support in executing SMA research on a number of projects. He/she will be responsible for subject recruitment, data analysis, production of work for publication, or presentation at conferences. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks ResponsibilitiesSubmission of and adherence to regulatory and IRB protocolsRecruitment of trial subjects covering informed consent, screening and inclusion of the subjects adhering to safety and compliance issues.Execution of trial protocol including communication with sponsor and monitors, arranging of study visits and sample acquisition and processing.Data collection and management, collection of source documents, registration and management of AEs, filing and archiving, managing monitoring visits and dealing with queries.Close-out of the clinical trial, contributing to manuscripts, audit preparation, trial closure, and communication with authorities other disciplines involved, assisting with the final study report and completing financial obligations.Prepare monthly minutes and quarterly reports.
