The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience, assisting customers with their needs, and maintaining the store's appearance.ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions accurately, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on the sales floor and replenishing items as needed.Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and product availability.Communicate product features and benefits to customers to drive sales and enhance their shopping experience.Uphold store standards by keeping the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing.Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and provide accurate information regarding products and services.Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities + Skills

Education

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with cash register operations.Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
