Job Description
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and coordinating appointments, maximizing clinician schedules, verifying insurance and providing a positive patient experience. The Scheduling Coordinator answers incoming calls within appropriate time lines and meet productivity and quality standards set by the organization. The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for reviewing provider schedules daily to ensure maximum capacity met. This position is required to effectively communicate with clinical teams, nurses, and clinicians to relay information to the appropriate clinic as needed. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Participation in Compliance and other important training is a condition of employment.This position is full-time. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime (as needed, rare). Our office is located at 303 Roma Avenue, Albuquerque, NM, 87102.We offer weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday. Once training is completed, the supervisor will provide further guidance about moving to remote. Training will be conducted on - site.All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.

Experience
1+ years of related healthcare experience, which includes scheduling experience and in verification of eligibility and benefitsKnowledge of Medical Terminology
