Job Description:JOB TITLE: Senior Release Management JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St., Dallas, Texas 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] Senior Release Management needed by Cricket Wireless, LLC in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to be responsible for oversight of the release management process for a specific application or multiple applications. Qualify projects for participation in releases. Create and facilitate planning releases. Create targeted release content and release plans. Monitor schedule, quality, and deployment of release. Monitor progress of participating projects in meeting milestone requirements. Manage risks and issues related to scope, schedule, and quality. Assess preparation for each subsequent phase of the release. Create and manage release level jeopardies. Develop Release Deployment plan. Evaluate release at various Decision Gates and for SOX compliance. Support Release managers and technical teams by engaging on call and providing resources required to resolve issues. Monitor and control changes to the release. Facilitate program and application schedules of dependent systems related to the release such as server installations and server maintenance. Manage release contents to release timeline and milestones. Provide visibility of the dependencies for planning sessions. Communicate releases across different organizational units and provides status reporting to internal and external groups.
