Job Description

Long DescriptionFacilities Information Services is looking for an undergraduate working toward a degree in Interior Design, Building Construction Management, Computer Graphics Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field of study.The FIS intern position provides support to Facilities Information Services through activities supporting data collection, creation and maintenance of building floor plans and campus basemap data. Activities would include researching projects for updates, field verification and the collection of data and/or measurements. The intern would use ArcGIS software and CAD software to create and update floor plans, base maps, and supporting data. This position would also include the development and maintenance of library of datasets, documentation, and training resources. Strong analytical, spatial reasoning, and data management skills are necessary.
