Job Description
General Summary:Tests and modifies general systems-level software/hardware, specialized utility and/or hardware. Interprets wireless specifications. Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Documents systems-level defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to developers. Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents problems with program function, output, or content. Develops testing programs that assess effectiveness of a new system or modification of an existing system.Work as part of a large test and engineering systems organization which handles test automation infrastructure, test strategy, test plan development and execution & report management in Power and thermal test areas of Modem, Multimedia, AI and other technologies.Role will include daily collaboration with other test engineers and power ecosystem as well as product engineers.Use power measurement equipment to collect measurements for system use cases on test platformTest planning and execution of test cases for Power/Thermal SW and debugging of SW related issues/problems on all Qualcomm chipset for various HLOS and non-HLOS Subsystems (Android, Windows etc.).Execution of functional/features tests for power/thermal SW and power/ thermal characterization/optimization

Education
