We are determined: above all else, we are on a relentless quest to make our community stronger beginning with you.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Works effectively with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions.Develops relationships with staff, members and community partners to advance the mission of the YMCA.Enhances YMCA of York and York County membership by demonstrating the Y core values while keeping the Wellness Center a safe and pleasant environment.Cleans equipment and surrounding floor area within the Wellness Center by using proper cleaning supplies and procedures.Monitors the Wellness Center by walking the floor, kindly enforces Wellness Center rules, encourages safe and proper equipment use and equipment clean up.
Responsibilities + Skills
Obtain CPR/AED certification within 3 months of hireAbility to work well with people and maintain a positive attitudeKnowledge of strength training and cardio equipmentComplete the following within 1 month of hire:
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferredAt least 16 years of age
