Job Description
Position Focus:The Assistant Director, Chief Executive Leadership Institute (CELI), contributes to all aspects of CELI, and with industry knowledge, is responsible for operations, special projects, and curricular programs in addition to coordinating the Yale School of Management’s (SOM) collaborative partnership with CELI. The Assistant Director reports to the Senior Associate Dean for Leadership Studies and Founder and CEO of the Chief Leadership Institute, working in collaboration and in conjunction with the CELI COO on CELI program logistics and operational aspects, supporting the activities and making recommendations along all dimensions.Working with the Senior Associate Dean and the CELI COO, help lead operational responsibilities, special projects, and curricular programs for CELI.Collaborate closely with CELI, SOM, and University leaders to ensure smooth program delivery and efficient operation of CELI.With current knowledge of business trends with an emphasis on corporate leadership in society, contributes to the Senior Associate Dean’s CELI program development, research, and course teaching plans.In concert with CELI leadership and SOM Communications, build broad awareness of CELI among all relevant constituencies by contributing to CELI’s brand building efforts across digital, print, and PR, including but not limited to, website development, social media outreach, print collateral development, email development, communication with media outlets and press kit preparation.In partnership with Senior Associate Dean, create and manage CELI media efforts through hands-on understanding of evolving media technologies and best practices.Manage a range of confidential and detailed responsibilities including class theme development, itineraries and trip visits, travel arrangements, coordinating logistics, conducting research, preparing reports and presentations, support for teaching, research, and other professional activities.Manage complex master calendar and prepare and manage a high volume of reports, documents, presentations, and correspondence.

Education
Minimum requirement of Bachelors Degree in related field and three years of demonstrated experience or an equivalent combination of education and related and demonstrated experience.
