Growing together. This Associate General Counsel position will provide legal support, counsel, and guidance to the UnitedHealth Group Real Estate Services team, which manages real estate interests across UnitedHealth Group, UnitedHealthcare, and Optum. This attorney will advise business teams and senior leaders on a wide range of matters including real estate strategy, lease interpretation, contract negotiations, mergers & acquisitions, and disputes. The successful candidate will have experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial real estate agreements for both owned and leased real property, conducting M&A due diligence, and drafting and negotiating deal terms on real estate matters in connection with M&A. This Associate General Counsel will be required to provide excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills and work collaboratively with business and legal teams across the organization. As a member of the corporate legal team, this attorney will be expected to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, results-driven practice group.
