Job Description

Job SummaryThe Business Assistant with the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships will work collaboratively with departmental faculty, staff, students, and other business units or areas. The position will ensure compliance with federal & university policies while providing excellent customer service to the areas being supported. Perform various business functions to support the fiscal management process for organizational units. Assist with account management, procurement, travel, effort reporting, internal grant setup, and monitoring, and assist with recharge/iLab management. Serve as a resource for areas of responsibility.

Education

Ability to identify problems, analyze information, and implement solutionsCapable of taking initiative, assuming responsibility, maintaining quality standards, and handling confidential information with discretion

Experience

Three (3) years of account clerk/bookkeeping, business, or related experienceExperience with procurement
