Business Assistant Procedures

Job Description

The Business Assistant with Discovery Park District Centers and Institutes will work collaboratively with departmental faculty, staff, students, and other business units or areas. The position will ensure compliance with federal & university policies while providing excellent customer services to the areas being supported. Perform various business functions to support the fiscal management process for organizational units. Assist with account management, procurement, travel, effort reporting, internal grant set up and monitoring and assist with recharge/iLab management. Serve as a resource for areas of responsibility.

Education

Ability to analyze, interpret, and implement policies and proceduresProficient with personal computer and related software (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, database, internet, etc.)
