Job Description

CV Systems group in Qualcomm develops visual analytics solutions and IP for all of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platforms used in mobile, automotive, VR/AR and IoT applications. The team’s scope includes algorithm and architecture design for video analytics, computer vision and machine learning with power and performance optimization.The selected candidate, along with his/her colleagues and other team members, will have responsibilities in one or more of the following areas:Research and develop a broad range of computer vision algorithms including object detection, motion analysis, depth estimation, 3D reconstruction etc. with performance and power efficiencyDefine systems architecture for computer vision solutions including data flow, task partition, user interface and systems interoperationDesign and implement simulator for computer vision functions to be used for algorithm evaluation, hardware verification, and customer trainingWork on DSP or NSP optimization of computer vision algorithmsDefine methodology for performance and power analysis and develop innovative technologies to reduce memory bandwidth, processing latency, power consumptionCollaborate with other teams to commercialize the technologies and provide strong customer support to enable the best visual analytics experiences
