Under supervision of the Director of International Student and Scholar Experience, the Indian Student Services Coordinator will assist in developing and implementing campus academic success initiatives and internationalization programs for international students from India that are administered by the International Students and Scholars Center.Develops and coordinates events and programs to meet the academic, career, social and cultural needs of new and returning Indian international studentsManages communications through Whatsapp and other channels with current Indian studentsLeads the ISSC Indian student services team by supervising student workers, advises volunteers of the Indian Student Volunteer Program (ISVP) and the Indian Graduate Student Advisory Board
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Evidence of a Masters degree in higher education, international education or social science.
Experience
Experience in academic advising and/or peer mentoring to international students, specifically students from India.Experience in program budgeting, development, coordination, and evaluation.
