Job Description
The School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at the Tempe campus is seeking a self-starting, collaborative, and detail-oriented team member to join the Advising team. Under general supervision, this individual will assist with course scheduling, general and curricular events and activities, and data reporting processes for SBHSE in accordance with the priorities set by the Office of the Provost.Accurately interpret, encode, verify, and maintain degree programs throughout a variety of degree audits.Assist with data management within PeopleSoft to support course and faculty needs forecasting.Maintain knowledge of the university scheduling process, including class logisticsCreate and maintain documentation for processes and projects.Plan and prioritize workload to meet set deadlines.Develops work plans in accordance with established unit and program objectives and funding limitations.Troubleshoot and resolve issues submitted.Maintains collaborative rapport with appropriate departments, centers and units to assess event needs and develop event recommendations and plans.
Responsibilities + Skills
Experience working in higher education or a related field.Experience working independently as well as a member of a team.Experience in class scheduling systems at Arizona State University.
Education
Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND three (3) years of related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
