Job Description
Responsibilities:Reviews and analyzes Dangerous Goods (DG) data to ensure compliance with regulations, including 49 CFR, ADG, ADR, CA TDG, NZ TDG, ICAO/IATA, IMO/IMDGUses business and information systems as required to access data to determine material characteristics.Maintains business and information systems by flagging dangerous goodsDevelops dangerous goods packaging plans using established packaging guidelinesInputs dangerous goods packaging plans into business and information systemsEvaluates new materials & parts for dangerous goods propertiesClassifies new materials to determine proper shipping name in accordance with applicable regulationsAssists more experienced employees to develop, test and document packaging designs for dangerous goods as required by applicable regulations and engineering specifications.

Bachelors degree in related field3+ years of experience interpreting Dangerous Goods regulations3+ years of experience classifying Dangerous Goods in Transportation1+ years of experience analytical and design skills1+ years of experience critical thinking and problem-solving skills
