Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Census Coordinator, assist in the billing of the animal census at the Yale Animal Resources through scanning animal caging, processing monthly charges and serves as a source of information for census. This position requires travel to local area facilities. Essential Duties of Position:Scan cage cards in animal facilities and process of monthly invoices and service charge sheets.Receive cage cards for activation, deactivation and processing and printing of bar code requests.Generate reports and research information by contacting staff or other university departments.Perform additional clerical functions incidental to office and financial activities. **Must Pass YARC (Yale Animal Resources Center) Clearance. ** This form is filed with Employee Health in a confidential file specific to employees who work at YSM Buildings. Offer is contingent upon successful health screening.

Ability to work in an environment that contains allergens associated with laboratory animals. Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills while working in a teamwork environment. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines. Demonstrated organizational skills. Demonstrated computer proficiency in Word and Excel. Strongly demonstrated keyboarding skills.
