Job Description

The Stewardship & Recognition team in the Office of Institutional Advancement is seeking a Stewardship & Recognition Assistant who must be eligible for federal work study funding (approved via the Teachers College Office of Financial Aid). The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, detail-focused individual eager to assist with general administrative activities in support of a fun-loving, hard-working team.Job Summary/Basic Function:Stewardship & Recognition is part of the TC Experience team, and we work closely with major gift officers, faculty, students, donors and staff on a variety of day-to-day tasks (such as "electronic filing" of documents, event preparations, general office support) as well as special projects relating to alumni awards, giving societies and stewardship, with a creative eye and attention to detail. Our preference is for a candidate able to commit for two years. Work hours will mostly be scheduled between 9-6 pm weekdays, with a commitment of at least 15 hours per week.The Stewardship & Recognition Assistant will primarily be responsible for performing academically relevant (when possible) basic level administrative tasks and contributing to special projects under the direction of their supervisor.
