Adapting to evolving needs, CUHR serves the entire Columbia Community, providing comprehensive services and solutions to attract and maintain a distinguished workforce.Reporting to the Assistant Director of HR Operations, the HR Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the department’s support functions are executed smoothly and effectively, with a focus on operations, compliance, and customer service. ResponsibilitiesOffice ManagementSupervise front desk coverage, managing inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.Manage the HR operations email box, respond to inquiries, and escalate matters as appropriate.Manage CUHR conference room operations, including scheduling and approving room reservations. Ensure cleanliness and functionality before and after events. Provide regular maintenance and upkeep to ensure that the rooms are operational and have functioning equipment and furniture.

Responsibilities + Skills

Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and oral.Ability to build and foster relationships and collaborate with colleagues on the CUHR team and client groups across campus.Must be able to work independently and take initiative.

Education

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.Comfortable with managing multiple projects, prioritizing, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
