Job Description
Reporting to the Associate Vice President, HR Strategic Initiatives, this position will serve as an internal management consultant to the HR Extended Leadership Team on Advance HR initiatives intended to transform HR’s service delivery and the Yale community’s “user experience” of those services.This position will provide the following internal advisory, facilitation, project management, and consulting services:Chartering projects composed of members of the HR community or stakeholder’s groups, as described in the principal duties.Facilitating the work of these project teams, including, project management, facilitating team work sessions where needed, advising sponsors and project leaders, maintaining the pace of work, assisting teams with data analysis, problem-solving and process improvement, supporting teams in developing recommendations, shepherding teams through decision-making with the Extended Leadership team or selected project sponsors, and advising on or organizing the implementation accountabilities and implementation roadmap or plan of action.Supporting process improvement and process optimization, including mapping the as-is state, working with teams to identify improvement opportunities, mapping newly designed business processes, identifying other optimization and improvement recommendations, and supporting implementation of process optimization plans.

Education
Master of Business Administration or similar advanced degree. Significant consulting or project management experience. Experience managing multiple and/or complex projects and/or implementing a process improvement based on own analysis and design.
