The IT Business Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position within Fixed Income Electronic Trading technology team at Citigroup. We are looking for a professional who has extensive experience working as a Business Analyst leading all business discretionary, mandatory, and regulatory projects from inception through go live. Successful candidate will be an expert in eliciting business requirements from business, and collaborating with technology teams.Responsibilities:Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Identify and document business needs by working closely with stakeholders. Translate business requirements into functional specifications.Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze business data to understand trends, patterns and issues. Develop reports and dashboards to measure process performance and help stakeholders make informed decisions.Solution Design and Validation: Propose and evaluate solutions to meet business needs. Conduct testing and validation of new processes or systems before full implementation.Process Mapping and Documentation: Develop detailed process maps to illustrate current workflows. Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in current processes.Stakeholder Management: Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team. Ensure all parties have a common understanding of the project objectives.Tracking and Reporting: Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environmentInterpersonal: Act as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts and work as a team to achieve business objectives, performing other duties and functions as assignedHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
