Posting Summary:The Department of Curriculum and Teaching is seeking to hire a full-time Lecturer in the area of early childhood/elementary curriculum and literacy, with emphasis on PK-2 contexts. This is a nine-month position (non-tenure track) with possibility for renewal and for summer teaching. We seek a colleague committed to critical perspectives in curriculum, literacy, and teacher education. Doctoral degree related to the field of early childhood and/or experience teaching in PK-2settings.Evidence of strong commitment to teaching and learning in college, university, and teacher education contexts is expected. This includes attention to supporting the success of pre/in-service teachers from historically minoritized communities (students of Color, first generation students, etc.).
