Job Description
Risk Managers at Capital One are highly motivated risk and process management professionals with excellent analytical, organizational, risk management, project management, and communication skills. These skills allow us to gain insights and act as a change agent to influence our business partners. The successful candidate will have knowledge of process management strategies, risk methodologies, and an ability to build relationships with business and risk partners. The ability to think from a ‘customer back’ perspective is also critical. This role supports Capital One Enterprise Data (eData) and is positioned in the Enterprise Services Risk Office. We are the first line of defense to help ensure our Company remains well-managed and avoids unnecessary risk supporting our Enterprise Data teams. In this position, you will play a key role in enhancing our risk processes for Enterprise consumption and experience tools and platforms across Capital One. As the risk team for eData, we are on the cutting edge of risk management, providing support for our critical business strategies as Capital One has taken a bold journey to build a technology company, while operating in a complex, highly regulated business. The eData team is always thinking about game changing products and experiences to benefit the company, and as their risk partner- you are a central player in all the excitement.

Education
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
Experience
At least 3 years of experience in process management or 3 years of experience in risk managementAt least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients
