Membership Coordinator

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Executive Branch Director, and consistent with the mission of the YMCA, the Membership Coordinator Is responsible for all membership and membership personnel management. GENERAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Be part of a team that implements membership sales training programs focused on core membership functions such as sign ups, updates, recruitment, recapture, retention, and program sales.Ensure exceptional prospective and active member experience by establishing systems and monitoring adherence to membership policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.Schedule, manage and provide training for new membership associates.Process collections of all payments, refunds, and changes in a timely manner with the assistance of membership associates.

Responsibilities + Skills

Education

Associate degree from 2-year college or technical school, or minimum two years related experience.Flexible availability to work irregular work hours as needed, including early mornings, evenings and weekends as needed.

Experience

Experience with a variety of computer technology, office machines and equipment.Excellent typing and data entry skills requiring a high rate of accuracy.
