Job Description
General Summary:Directs a comprehensive product strategy with emphasis on hardware and software capabilities for artificial intelligence (AI) within the Mobile Business Unit. The Mobile BU at Qualcomm delivers the industry-leading Snapdragon platform that powers the world's best smartphones. Functions as a central resource with design, process, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing, and distribution as the product(s) and/or product line(s) move through their lifecycle. Promotes the use of new technologies and industry-leading trends. Directs those involved in the design, modification, and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle, including modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of the product or product line.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
Experience
10+ years of Product Management or engineering development experience in the smartphone ecosystem, particularly with Android.Solid understanding of machine learning (ML) models and inferencing techniques on CPU, GPU, or NPU.Exposure to working and implementing generative AI is a strong plus.
