Job Description
Access ASU seeks highly-motivated, energetic, and articulate Program Specialist to join our high-performing team specifically supporting ASU GEAR UP, the Meta Network, and Access ASU. Under the direction of the Director, the Program Specialist will coordinate and execute administrative, data-related, and some fiscal activities specific to the goals and objectives of the ASU GEAR project, the Arizona Meta Network, and Access ASU. The program Specialist must be able to work well independently in a fast-paced, flexible environment, provide a high level of costumer service to both the university and external communities, and make a strong contribution both as an individual and team player. The program Specialist will require experience with the office management, event coordination, database management, and some fiscal oversight, in addition to evidence of effective time management skills and a learning mindset.
Responsibilities + Skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field AND two years administrative/coordination experience; OR Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Education
Establish and maintain strong relationships with school, community, and University partners.Maintain consistent and effective communication through reports, emails, blogs, and/or social media posts.
Experience
Ability to grasp concepts related to finance and accounting.Experience using fiscal platforms (e.g., Workday).Experience in work that requires organization with an eye for detail.
