Job Description

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position SummaryReporting jointly to the Vice Chair for Faculty Development, Diversity and Inclusion and the Assistant Director, Faculty Promotions and Faculty Development Programs, the Faculty Development and Diversity Program Specialist will play a pivotal role in advancing the Department of Medicine's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The incumbent will develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and support underrepresented faculty, while also contributing to the overall faculty development initiatives of the department. Responsibilities

Responsibilities + Skills

Master's degree in a related field (e.g., higher education administration, public policy) would substitute for experience.Strong organizational and time management skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., human resources, education, or social sciences), or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, three years of progressive administrative experience, preferably in a higher education or healthcare setting.
