Columbia Home Services (CHS) is a private equity-backed platform actively investing in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other trades-related services companies. We are searching for an experienced Regional Financial Controller to lead the finance and accounting function through-out Pa. The right candidate will also have the opportunity to assume larger roles across the growing platform! This position is an in-office position located in Leesport, PAIn this position, you will play a pivotal part in CHS’s growth, reporting directly to the market area leader in Leesport, PA, and the Corporate Controller. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who not only possesses excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles but is also hands-on in their approach. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the regional accounting function, as well as defining and implementing best practices across the operating region. Responsibilities:Leadership and Oversight: Overseeing all regional accounting operations to include financial reporting, AR/AP, payroll, cash management, ledger management, asset management and risk management functions.Work closely with each business unit’s President and accountant to drive quality processes, execution, and financial planning and reporting.Strategic Partnership: Collaborate as a strategic financial thought partner to each operations center President.Financial Analysis: Continuously analyze essential business drivers, trends, and performance indicators to inform decision-making.Cross-Portfolio Projects: Develop and execute action plans for capturing value across all regional entities (e.g., job costing, standardizing operating procedures, other).

Education
Proven Experience: Demonstrated and verifiable experience as a Financial Controller or VP of FinanceFinancial Analysis: Extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative financial analysisGAAP Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Education: A bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications such as CMA or CPA are preferred but not required.Excel Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, nested if statements, and logic formulas are expected.
