Further information is available at www.bgis.comJob Summary: Under the general supervision of the Regional Director of Operations the Area Manager performs a variety of management tasks with emphasis on customer satisfaction and quality service delivery.Key Responsibilities:Functioning as a core member of the Operations team the Regional Manager must be able to:Carry out structured site visits to inspect and ensure that specifications are met, and customer expectations are positively managedRespond quickly and efficiently to all clients concerns and requestsCoordinate with clients, management, contractors, and employees to complete all necessary reports, inspections, and client requestsPlan, organize and manage day to day operationsManage/track inventory and equipmentCoordinate and execute event requests made by facility’s managersBe responsible for sourcing, training, and orienting of new employeesAlways demonstrate the values of the company and lead by exampleEnsure that all service providers are compliant with company quality, security and safety mandates and workers are cleared through all security protocolsReview daily site evaluations/audits to ensure safety, security and service standards are being metCreate action plans and follow up on deficiencies as outlined in quality inspections to resolve all facility’s issues efficientlyPrepare and Maintain service schedules according to client needsMonitor and manage staff absence and turnover ensuring flexible cover arrangements within short noticeCo-ordinate activities with other departmentsCommunicate with operations Managers from various facilitiesMonitor employee performance and apply progressive discipline as neededOperate within the labour cost budget on a site-by-site basisImplement approved operational policies and proceduresGenerate new account leads, respond to sales enquiriesProtect company and client assets from misuse and damageAddress and report any safety or security issues to the director of OperationsHandle and assist with emergency procedures accordingly and as required
Responsibilities + Skills
Familiarity with cleaning/battery operated equipmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEffective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Education
3+ years of Management experience in operations of a Service-related fieldValid driver's license and own vehicleExcellent communication and strong interpersonal skillsFluency in both written and oral English a must, Bilingual skills preferredMust be organized and able to interpret and execute account specifications as well as agreements, budgets, and duty lists
