Posting Summary:The Office of the Vice President for Administration is seeking an FWS: Project Assistant. The Project Assistant will provide support on general tasks in support of various departmental functions and projects. This position requires a commitment of a minimum of 20 hours/week.Job Summary/Basic Function:Basic Function: Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, the FWS: Project Assistant will provide high-level administrative and project support for the VPA office. Qualified candidates will have relevant experience and/or interest in the organizational development, project management, employee engagement and communications.Characteristic Duties And Responsibilities:Assist with special projects; conduct research toward the successful implementation of various projects and initiatives.Assist in designing employee engagement programs for the VPA offices, and organizational-wide events, such as Employee Appreciation Week, the Long Term Employee Ceremony, monthly Employee Lunch and Learn sessions, etc.Support engagement event logistics, such as pulling RSVP lists, set-up and breakdown of events, booking conference rooms, etc.

Education

Student work schedules are based on the needs of the department and the students academic schedule. Students should discuss their schedules with the hiring manager/supervisor during the interview process. Hiring managers/supervisors will make every attempt to accommodate students needs.
