The Project Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Provides data-driven guidance to direct project implementation, monitor progress, and alert a team regarding potential missed targets. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Responsibilities:Ensures creation of project plan and charter benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log.Ensures resources are assigned to project & monitor commitment.Uses best practice PMO methodology to create a project plan to fit the sponsor/stakeholder’s needs and deliver within budget on desired outcomes.Identifies, documents, and understands project dependencies.Identifies key stakeholders who participate in project scope definition.Establishes project communication needs and create project communication plan.Creates all required artifacts for the successful delivery of the project.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.Strong customer service ability; communication and problem solving.Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk.Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them; clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required.
Experience
4-6 years of project management experience preferably from a mortgage or financial services environmentPMP certification preferred
