The PS Gerard Professor will focus on research, scholarship, teaching/mentorship of faculty and students and service at a national and international level. The College of Nursing is a National League for Nursing Center of Excellence and is home to the Indiana Center for Evidence Based Nursing Practice, a JBI Affiliate Center. The College offers undergraduate degrees including a traditional BSN, second degree accelerated BSN, and an online RN to BSN. We offer several MSN options including two advanced practice roles (family nurse practitioner and adult-gerontology clinical nurse specialist) and two online advanced practice specialties (nurse educator and nurse executive). Our post-master’s DNP program has a focus in translation science.

Education
Qualified applicants must hold an earned doctorate in nursing and have a record of scholarly achievement which includes a history of obtaining external grants suitable for a tenure/tenure track position and appointment. Candidates should declare an area of excellence in research and must demonstrate a national/international reputation in a focused field of research. Licensed or eligible for Indiana RN licensure is also a requirement. Proficiency in English, written and spoken, is required.
