The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Student Research Worker to join our team in a temporary part time position to work within the Division of Infectious Diseases. This position will support the department by providing support to Dr. Lisa Saiman in Pediatric Infectious Diseases with the study on diagnostic stewardship for pediatric infections including C. difficile and urinary tract infections. ResponsibilitiesCollect and enter into electronic database in a secure confidential manner.Analysis of large datasets for rate calculations and trends over time.Analysis of compliance with computer decision support for diagnostic stewardship.Assist PI to prepare summary reports, abstracts, and manuscripts.Participate in regular team meetings.Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.
Responsibilities + Skills
College graduate.Courses in epidemiology and biostatics.
Education
High School Graduate or Equivalency required.
