Job Description
The Division of Scholarship and Research at the School of Nursing is recruiting a Student Research Worker to work as a part of Dr. Melissa Beauchemin’s research team. The Student Research Worker will work closely with Dr. Beauchemin to support a research study that is pilot testing a needs navigation intervention among adolescent and young adults with cancer who speak English or Spanish.The successful candidate must possess prior experience conducting research interviews, a high level of initiative, excellent organizational and communication skills, and be attentive to detail in addition to familiarity with data management, and ability to work some evenings and weekends. ResponsibilitiesRecruiting patients to the study.Conducting informed consent and administering surveys over the telephone.Maintaining a database of patient contacts and interview scheduling.Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of data collected.Contributing to progress reports and manuscript preparation.Performing other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.
Responsibilities + Skills
At least one year of related experience, or equivalent in education, training and experience.
