The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.Position SummaryThe Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center is looking to hire a Student Research Worker to work in the laboratory of Dr. Nakagawa. The candidate will provide support to the Principal Investigator and other lab investigators, as needed.ResponsibilitiesDuties will include, but are not limited to the following:Assist with projects to DNA damage response under homeostasis and disease conditions in the upper aerodigestive tract.Assist with the methodology for this project including analyses of genetically engineered murine models, 3D organoids, CRISPR gene editing, western blotting, and immunohistochemistry.Prepare tools and reagents, perform experiments, and collect data under the direct and daily supervision of Dr. Samuel Flashner, a Postdoctoral Researcher in Dr. Nakagawa’s laboratory.
