We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as the Vice President of People, Culture, and Development, a role that is instrumental in shaping our organizational culture and fostering a thriving workplace.Position Summary:The Vice President of People, Culture, and Development will lead strategic initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering an inclusive, mission-driven organizational culture. This role will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of human resources functions, including talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and organizational effectiveness. The VP will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and a champion for the YMCA's values, ensuring alignment with our mission and strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:Strategic LeadershipDevelop and execute comprehensive people and culture strategies that align with the YMCA's mission and strategic objectives.Collaborate with senior leadership to foster an environment that prioritizes employee engagement, DEI, and professional growth.Talent ManagementOversee the end-to-end talent lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and retention strategies.Lead initiatives to attract diverse, mission-aligned talent.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience
A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources, with a focus on culture, talent development, and DEI.
