Vice President Of Finance (Association)

Job Description

The YMCA of the Fox Cities is hiring a Vice President of Finance to lead our Association's Finance team, including accounting activities. As the VP of Finance, you'll lead the general operations of our Finance department, including the hiring, training and staff development to ensure adequate staffing and processes for accounts payable & receivable, restricted funds, cash and other general ledger reconciliations. Develop internal controls & reporting. As the vice president, you will lead the annual budget process including development of budget tools & reporting, budget owner training, review & analysis and reporting. Serve as a partner to the CFO and carry out special projects to support the organization's financial vision.

Responsibilities + Skills

Proven project management skills and advanced experience in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.Provide support, collaboration, and build effective relationships with others, including those in non-finance roles.Must be able to facilitate annual audit and 990 preparations.Ability to prepare financial statements for leadership, governance, and outside agencies.

Education

Experience

Experience in GAAP and non-profit fund accounting is required.Previous leadership experience in developing and managing a dynamic finance team.Problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative and implement a multi-faceted workload with minimum supervision.
