Position SummaryPerforms daily Watch Engineer assignments as required by Maintenance and/or job order by sketch, blueprint, and illustration of supervisor's oral or written directions in operation, preventive maintenance and repairs to dual fuel steam boilers, chillers, auxiliary equipment and associated systems. ResponsibilitiesThe Watch Engineer shall be proficient in employment of all tools, methods, and materials pertaining to electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic controls and instrumentation for steam generators (boilers), chillers and associated systems. Shall be able to read blueprints, schematics, control diagrams and be able to work safely, independently and reliably from verbal or written instruction. Specific duties will include assign, direct and check the work of other Powerhouse personnel in connection with assignment responsibilities.

Currently valid NYC Stationary Engineer License for High Pressure Steam.Currently valid NYC Refrigeration System Operation's Certificate of Qualification.
