Job Description
The Security Officer ensures the safety of students, staff and visitors to the ASU Preparatory Academy campus. The Security Officer will provide support to the instructional process with specific responsibilities for the safety and welfare of students while on school grounds; monitoring personnel and/or visitors; communicating information in response to inquiries; and enforcing the school rules and regulations.
Responsibilities + Skills
Ability to speak, read and write in Spanish is a plus.Active Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) issued IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Education
High School Diploma or GED.One (1) or more years of experience in security and/or general maintenance.
