Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site, Administrative Assistant in our Human Services department. This position serves as the administrator and oversees, manages, and coordinates daily office functions. The pay for this position is $15.81/hr.  Primary Responsibilities:Prepare, manage, and track contracts, purchase orders, room assignments, course materials, databases, and reports for the department.Attend department meetings and take minutes and notes.Create content and maintain department website, social media account, and bulletin boards.Oversee and supervise student workers.Track student experiential educational requirements.Assist with student files and notifications regarding graduates, graduation problems, student academic status, and student opportunities.Maintain confidentiality of student, faculty, and departmental data.Oversee and maintain department Listserv.Other duties as assigned.  

Responsibilities + Skills

Organizational and prioritization skills.Experience handling confidential information.A team attitude and an ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Education

Experience

At least 2 years of experience with customer service and technology.Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets.
