ASU's Global Security Initiative seeks a self-motivated and well-organized Administrative Specialist who will work closely with the Executive Director and the Senior Director of Operations to provide executive administrative support, which includes scheduling meetings, monitoring calendars, assisting with travel, and supporting day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be a polished individual with an efficient work methodology and excellent communication skills, demonstrable computer skills, experience in maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information, the ability to coordinate multiple tasks autonomously and contribute to a positive and professional team culture. The administrative assistant will have contact with other high-level administrative offices and external partners requiring use of business vocabulary, tact, discretion and judgment.
Responsibilities + Skills
Prepares conference rooms for executive and operational meetings.Provide all necessary pCard backup documentation to appropriate staff member.
Education
Provides administrative and logistical support for events such as meetings, conferences, seminars, and special events including arranging equipment and catering, sending invitations, managing RSVPs and communicating arrangements to appropriate individuals.
