Discover your opportunities at Yale!The Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach in formulating, teaching, and coaching technical aspects of game preparation and strategy for a Division I intercollegiate athletic program. Responsibilities include directing competitions, practices, administrative activities, alumni relations, and the recruitment process for student-athletes. The Assistant Coach develops the varsity sports program within the parameters and regulations of the Ivy League, other athletic leagues, the NCAA, and the University. This role requires maintaining a working knowledge of effective coaching techniques, organizing and managing all facets of the program, and ensuring the success and academic progress of student-athletes.
